Painting in Puyallup, WA

Edited: John reached out personally and apologized for the initial quality of the work. He stayed in communication and followed through until the job was completed to my satisfaction. As a renter, I really appreciated that—too often companies do poor work and then disappear, so that level of accountability stood out. This company replaced and repainted the railing at the property where I live. While I wasn’t the one who hired them (the landlord arranged it), I was present during the project and noticed several concerns. During removal of the old railing, one of the support posts was cracked. Instead of repairing or replacing it initially, the new railing was installed on top of the damaged post and painted over, which is not a proper structural fix. The finish work on the top rail also looked rough in several areas, with visible seams and multiple nail/staple marks across the surface. Cleanup was also lacking—rotten wood was left on the ground, and scrap wood was placed in my trash can without asking. That said, the work was significantly improved the second time around. The affected areas were properly addressed, including repainting and reinforcing the previously damaged section, and multiple coats of paint were applied. Overall, the initial workmanship raised legitimate concerns, but I do give credit for the follow-through and willingness to correct the issues. I would recommend closely inspecting the work during and after completion to ensure everything is done properly.

John and his team did such an amazing job! Under a time crunch not only was everything completed to perfection, but the house sold in 48 hours with an above asking price!

Updating my last review, which was based on not hearing back from the company. Just had a call from John Brink explaining the reason for the delay. He also sent along an estimate. I appreciate him reaching out to let us know what was going on. My review is reflective of the previous work Brink has done for us. Good company that does good work. Still waiting for an estimate. 2 weeks. Must not need customers. Too bad. Had been our go to paint company.
